MEPITEL - SOFT SILICONE WOUND CONTACT LAYER

Mepitel is a gentle, two-sided wound contact layer featuring Safetac, a silicone adhesive that sticks softly to skin without adhering to moist wounds. This allows easy removal with less pain and prevents skin damage. It protects new tissue and intact skin, supports faster natural healing, and seals wound margins to prevent leaks and maceration. The perforated design allows exudate to pass through to a secondary dressing. Mepitel can remain in place up to 14 days, reducing the need for frequent dressing changes and enabling secondary dressing changes without disturbing healing.
