Description
Compound Sodium Lactate Intravenous Infusion BP, also known as Ringer’s Lactate Solution, is a sterile and non-pyrogenic fluid used for intravenous administration. It helps restore body fluids, replace lost electrolytes, and maintain acid-base balance in patients requiring rehydration or volume expansion.
The formulation contains a carefully balanced combination of sodium, potassium, calcium, and lactate ions. Lactate acts as a buffer that helps correct mild metabolic acidosis. The solution is isotonic and physiologically compatible with body fluids, making it suitable for a wide range of medical and surgical applications.
Manufactured under strict aseptic conditions to meet British Pharmacopoeia (BP) standards, ensuring purity, stability, and patient safety.
